Recent Activity
Purpose
Review actions performed on documents and folders you can access. The Recent Activity widget shows the latest events on the dashboard; the Recent Activity list page shows a sortable, paginated history for the selected period.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in to EisenVault One.
- You can open Dashboard from the left navigation.
Before You Begin
- The widget shows activity from roughly the last 30 days, with Load more when additional items exist (up to the configured maximum).
- Click the Recent Activity widget header to open the full list.
- The list page subtitle is Activities in the selected period. It respects the dashboard date range when you arrive from the dashboard.
View Recent Activity on the Dashboard
- Open Dashboard.
- Scroll to the Recent Activity widget.
- Scan the latest actions (uploads, views, metadata changes, and similar events).
- Click Load more at the bottom of the widget when available.
- Click the Recent Activity header to open the full list.
Work with the Recent Activity List
On the Recent Activity page:
- Confirm the date range filter matches the period you want to review.
- Use column headers to sort by Item, Action, Department, Category, Activity Date, or Version.
- Click a document name to open preview when the item is still available.
- Use pagination at the bottom for longer histories.
- Click Back to return to the dashboard.

Expected Result
- The widget shows recent actions or an empty state when nothing occurred in the window.
- The list page shows sortable, paginated activity for the selected period.
- Clicking an active document opens preview; deleted items may show a Deleted badge.
