User Administrator Guide
This guide is for administrators who manage people and access in EisenVault One: creating and editing users, organizing groups, defining roles, and assigning permissions.
Who This Guide Is For
User administrators can create, edit, enable, and disable users; manage groups and group membership; and work with roles. A user administrator cannot browse folders or view documents unless they also hold separate content permissions.
System administrators can perform all user-administration tasks plus configure EisenVault One through Admin Tools and Settings. See the System Administrator Guide for those topics.
Where to Start
- Create a User when onboarding a colleague.
- Create Group to organize users for permission assignment.
- Review Permissions Overview to understand how roles combine.
- Assign Role to grant global or content permissions.
