Quick Actions

Purpose

Start common administrator tasks from the dashboard without hunting through menus. Quick Actions provides Add User and Add Group buttons beneath the overview cards.

Note: This action may require administrator privileges.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to EisenVault One as a system administrator.
  • You can open Dashboard from the left navigation.
  • Your role allows creating users and groups.

Before You Begin

  • Add User opens the Users area with the create-user drawer visible.
  • Add Group opens Admin-tools > Groups with the create-group drawer visible.
  • These shortcuts do not replace full user or group administration workflows.

Add a User

  1. Open Dashboard.
  2. In Quick Actions, click Add User.
  3. EisenVault One navigates to Users and opens the add-user form.
  4. Complete the required fields and save the account.

Add a Group

  1. Open Dashboard.
  2. In Quick Actions, click Add Group.
  3. EisenVault One navigates to Admin-tools > Groups and opens the add-group form.
  4. Enter the group name and save.

  1. Scroll to Quick Actions below the overview cards.

  2. Click Add User or Add Group to jump directly into the corresponding create dialog.

Expected Result

  • Add User lands on Users with the add-user panel open.
  • Add Group lands on Groups with the add-group panel open.
  • Canceling the dialog leaves you on the target admin page.
