Storage Usage
Purpose
Monitor how much storage the repository consumes against the licensed limit. The Storage Usage overview card shows used and total gigabytes; hover the card to Recalculate when you need a fresh reading from the storage service.
Note: This action may require administrator privileges.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in to EisenVault One as a system administrator.
- You can open Dashboard from the left navigation.
Before You Begin
- Storage Usage is a point-in-time metric and does not use the dashboard date range picker.
- Recalculate uses the same storage job as Total Space in the document explorer.
- In some production environments EisenVault One may hide the limit denominator and show only used storage.
View Storage Usage
- Open Dashboard.
- Find Storage Usage in the second overview row.
- Read the
used GB / limit GBvalue (or used-only display in production).
Recalculate Storage
- Move the pointer over the Storage Usage card.
- Click the Recalculate (sync) icon that appears beside the label.
- Wait until the spinner stops and the value updates.
There is no separate drill-down list for storage usage.
Example Walkthrough
Demonstration screenshots highlight the storage card on the administrator dashboard.
-
Locate Storage Usage on the second overview row.

-
Hover the card and click Recalculate when uploads or deletions just changed consumption.
Expected Result
- The card shows current used storage and the licensed cap when limits are displayed.
- Recalculate refreshes the used value without reloading the entire dashboard.
- Storage changes in the repository are reflected after recalculation completes.
